City Backyard Makeover

This urban backyard, originally a clean uninteresting space screaming for some fun, now has multiple outdoor rooms, a pool and a unique poolside bar. See the features of this city backyard makeover in this House & Home video:

The patio area, composed of man-made stone in a running bond pattern, was reduced to make room for the pool. Greenery planted up to the edge of the pool gives it a more natural feel; the surrounding garden includes ornamental grasses and an evergreen yew hedge. Columnar trees planted in front of the perimeter fence enhances privacy. Made completely from a shipping container, the destination nook on the opposite end of the backyard is the poolside bar which is fully outfitted with a bar, TV, fire pit and lounge area.
