Budget-Friendly Rental Bedroom Makeover

On the vertical space flanking the vanity, magnets store eye shadows and compacts on one side, and wire bins store lipsticks and eye liners on the other side.

Wallpaper was used to cover the back of the existing bookcase. Small shelves made from scrap pieces of wood rest on the upper shelves and house beauty products, allowing clothes and shoes to be stored in the lower shelves.

A hanging jewelry box with a mirror was installed between the closet and the heater. Necklaces are hung alongside the box using removable hooks.

Curtains were used to hide one wall with its unattractive vertical blinds and wall-mounted AC unit. The brackets attach to the existing track of the vertical blinds and hold the curtain rod.
