Boys Bedroom Makeover

The design challenge was how to make this 10′ x 10′ bedroom feel separate and private for two boys. See the results of this boys bedroom makeover in this video by Robeson Design:

The two bunk beds were split and set on opposite walls, essentially separating the room down the middle. Storage was an issue, so the nightstand under the window has an equal number of drawers for each boy.

Lights were added above the beds for reading and along with art lights for the artwork on the walls and a lamp with separate arms on the nightstand.

The walls were painted a soft blue which blends with the fun bedding and pillows. Above each bed is a cork board with a chocolate square background. The colorful window treatments were made from placemats.
