Bold and Graphic Kitchen

This kitchen is ultra-modern in design and technology and the absolute heart of this home. The overall color scheme is black and white, with a monster dose of metallic.

The tile flooring with its modern tribal pattern adds a Southwestern vibe to the kitchen. All that pattern is balanced with striking dark cabinets, dark appliances, and darkly-stained floating shelves.

In contrast to the dark cabinets, the island countertop is light-colored quartz which has waterfall details on both sides. Overhead, automatic skylights help to lighten it up with tons of natural light.

Metallics provide serious bling. The copper backsplash is installed from base to ceiling on the stove wall. Cabinet hardware, done in the same finish, looks like edgy jewelry. The custom-designed copper and metal light fixture over the island looks like sculpture. There’s even metallic detail on the bar stools.

A triple-stack bookcase with a weathered look makes this kitchen look homey and add tons of storage.
