Atlanta Condo Renovation

The renovation of this Atlanta condo improved the functionality of the kitchen and bathroom. See the transformation in this Trends video:

The condo’s original floor plan had fundamental flaws with the kitchen and master bath situated in remote corners in the back of the condo with little access to natural light.

The wall between the original dining room and the existing kitchen was taken down and the kitchen function expanded into the former dining room space. This brought the functional and entertaining aspects of the kitchen center stage and also opened up the view toward the downtown skyline.

Due to the large footprint of the living room space, the dining room function was moved into part of that space without crowding the living room function.

Eliminating the corridor added space to a new powder room and allowed the creation of a den between the master bedroom suite and the living room.

All the partitions were taken down between the functional master bathroom and the master bedroom, which has a beautiful wall of windows. These were replaced with a series of translucent partitions between the master bedroom and the new master bathroom that can be closed for privacy and still give a great sense of natural light and openness.
