Architect’s Tiny Home in New Zealand

This architect’s tiny home in New Zealand has a cedar exterior, glass entrance doors, lots of innovative storage solutions and a raked wall that increases usable interior space. Take the tour in this Living Big in a Tiny Home video:



Beautiful reclaimed rimu wood covers the ceiling and floors. Storage steps at either end lead up to separate lofts with windows and skylights; the master bedroom loft has a queen bed, while the children’s bedroom has two Murphy beds and a desk. The kitchen has a multi-purpose table, gas cooktop, dishwasher and a toolbox used to store craft supplies. A colorful translucent door leads into the compact bathroom with has a beautiful blue vessel sink and shower. There’s even a climbing wall with hand holds.
