Architect’s Renovated Legacy Home

This architect’s renovated legacy home was built in the 1940’s by his father, an internationally known architect. A new 235 square-foot teahouse added to the property serves as a guest suite. The interior of the main house is warm and inviting with wide windows that enhance the indoor-outdoor connection. The new kitchen is double the size of the original and includes a pantry and built-in rotisserie. Another addition serves as a combined media room, guest room, dressing room and walk-in closet; the overhead loft offers additional guest, storage and office space. A gallery for art and collectibles connects the old and new spaces. Other features include the master bedroom with its woven wood ceiling, an outdoor courtyard and stone fireplaces in the master bedroom and living room. Take the tour in this HouzzTV video:
