Accent Colors That Complement Champagne and Chocolate Brown
In terms of room decor, champagne and chocolate brown are a great foundation to start with. They’re both neutral colors, and you can do a lot of things with a neutral color palette. Learn about accent colors that complement champagne and chocolate brown in this Better Homes and Gardens video:
Taupe is a great medium tone color between the lighter champagne and the darker chocolate brown and is a good choice if you want to keep the look neutral.
A bright color is another option that will lighten the look of the chocolate brown and inject personality into your space. Consider classic blue, rose pink, or a contemporary lime green. If you choose one of these colors, make your champagne a little bit more of a soft white so it will pair nicely with the bright intense color.
You can also up mix up neutrals and add in a soft pastel. In addition to the champagne and chocolate brown, add in a pure white, medium gray taupe and a soft pastel like robin’s egg blue. This will create a soft, serene and relaxing look that’s perfect for a bedroom.
Brown and off-white are great on their own too. Instead of a third color, add in metallics or textures that will liven up the space.
Whatever you choose as your accent wall color, be sure to use it in smaller doses throughout the space. Aim for a 60-30-10 ratio of the your three colors.
