These Houston empty nesters converted their starter home into their forever dream home. The rebuilt home is contemporary in design and light-filled with multiple banks of clerestory windows, and it’s also fully automated, including the LED lighting and window treatments. The space is open to the roof with high vaulted ceilings. There are threee suites: 1) public living area with an office, piano nook, kitchen with Italian granite backsplash and oversized fireplace, 2) guest area with two bedrooms and a bathroom, and 3) master suite with bedroom, bathroom and fitness area.
