Versatile Bunk Loft with Western Accents

The versatile bunk loft with Western accents in the 2019 HGTV Dream Home is designed to be a comfortable, welcoming space for visitors. See the features in this HGTV video:

The landing at the top of the staircase has so much usable space that it can be used for just about any purpose as long as the pass-through area is left open. Since the home is in Montana and people gather together here, it was designed to be a flexible hangout space.

The bunk bed has a full-size mattress on the bottom, which means it can be used as a sofa or day bed, allowing people to gather in it and hang out. On the top is a twin bed that’s perfect for sleeping. A collection of summery straw cowboy hats on the wall above creates an artful moment that reflects the Montana lifestyle.

A live edge slab of wood fastened to the wall serves as a floating workstation. The vintage chairs were gathered from flea markets all around Montana and provide a lived-in look. A large black-and-white photo of a happy Montana fisherman adorns the wall.

On the opposite wall are an acoustic guitar and an acoustic banjo. Together with the super comfortable, structure beanbag chair, they create a space that’s also perfect for an impromptu jam session room.
