How to Make Under-Bed Pull Drawers

Add a little extra storage to any kid’s space with rolling under-bed drawers. They’re simple to make, fun to decorate, and getting creative with the look can be fun to do with your kids. Learn how to make under-bed pull drawers in this DIY Network video:



1. Add pocket holes to each side of two 17-3/4 inch boards using a pocket hole jig.

2. Assemble the box from the 17-3/4 inch boards and two 25-inch boards.

3. Attach a piece of 1/4-inch plywood to the bottom using wood glue and a brad nailer. Let dry.

4. Take four casters, cover caster wheels with painters tape and spray-paint the casters gold. Let dry.

5. Tape off a section on the front of the box and spray-paint with chalkboard paint.

6. Attach the casters to the four corners of the bottom of the box.

7. Trim the bottom of the box with pink leather straps and gold upholstery nails.

8. Add pull tabs.
