How to Make a Copper Window Privacy Screen

While a window is great for bringing light into a bathroom, it also creates a privacy issue. A decorative sliding privacy screen is a solution that’s both functional and stylish. Learn how to make a copper window privacy screen in this DIY Network video:

1. Draw a design on paper and place it over a large copper sheet.

2. Using a drill, punch the design through the paper onto the copper sheet.

3. Create the frames, one for the front side and one for the back side. Cut wood to size. Wood biscuits add support without the use of screws.

4. Attach the frames to the copper sheet. Screw together from the back to hide the screws.

5. Add wheels to the finished screen.

6. Install track and mount the screen.
