How to Make a Custom Advent Calendar
An Advent calendar is a fun way to count down the days until Christmas. Learn how to make a custom Advent calendar in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:
1. Notch together corners of wood canvas stretchers.
2. Measure and mark 4-inch segments on back.
3. Hammer tacks to back.
4. Paint frame.
5. Stretch string across back of frame. Tie around tacks.
6. Add pom-pom cording.
7. Hammer to tighten.
8. Write numbers from 1 to 25 on small notecards. On the inside of the notecards, insert a poem, coupon, ticket, note, quotation, bookmark, recipe, or other small-sized items.
9. Clip notecards onto cording.
