Easy Halloween Luminaries

Light the way for trick-or-treaters with lanterns that you can make from white paper bags and LED tea lights. Learn how to create these easy Halloween luminaries in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:

Try these fun designs:

1. Spooky Face (use three bags and place side by side): Attach letter stickers “O”, “J” and “O”. Attach black tape and glue on googly eyes to the “O” bags.

2. Spider Web: Add black tape to make X shapes, then add extra black tape pieces to form a web (start from the center and work out). Trim excess tape. Attach a plastic spider.

3. Tombstone: Mix gray acrylic paint and water and brush sides of bag. Let dry. Cut the top of the bag. Attach adhesive letters to form word(s) or phrase(s).

4. Pumpkin: Mix orange acrylic paint and water and brush sides of bag. Let dry. Attach black face shapes.

5. Skull: Mix green acrylic paint and water and brush sides of bag. Let dry. Attach black skull shape.
