Chic Flex Garage Space

When it comes to garages and interior design, think about the space as being more than just an area to park a car. The garage in the 2018 HGTV Urban Oasis happens to be air-conditioned, which means it could be used for just about anything, from entertaining to hanging out to reading books. Towards the front, there is a pair of marble-topped tables with two different sets of chairs. One one side, they’re a little bit more mid-century with wood backs; on the other side, they have a stitched detail and very mid-century modern legs.

In this space, the color scheme is very earth tone inspired. It starts on the ground with two layered rugs in a gray tone and a terracotta tone. A pair of worn brown leather poufs are excellent for having extra guests over, putting magazines on, or putting your feet up on. Three hexagonal tables of different sizes add visual interest. The trio of industrial white pendant lights, which have a gold finish on their interior and a beautiful flat white finish outside, add a touch of glam.

Towards the back, there is an original piece of art that is mid-century in style with interesting shapes and a lot of texture; it pulls together all the different colors you see in the space. And hands down, the most comfortable part of the entire garage happens to be the seating area with tufted English chairs in the very back.
