How to Make Crepe Paper Pumpkins

With a few craft pumpkins and dyed crepe paper, you can make a beautiful seasonal centerpiece. Learn how to make crepe paper pumpkins in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:



1. Cut 16-inch strips of crepe paper.

2. Prep your dark papers by brushing on a water/bleach mixture to create a pattern. Add more pattern with cotton swabs.

3. Prep your light papers by brushing on a food dye/water mixture to create a pattern. Add more pattern with cotton swabs.

4. Hang papers to dry.

5. Cut paper into 2-inch strips.

6. Wrap a craft pumpkin stem with a paper strip and secure with hot glue. Cover the rest of the pumpkin with paper strips and secure with hot glue. Repeat for each pumpkin in the set.
