Industrial Minimalist Master Bedroom Makeover

This couple had not altered the design of their master bedroom in nine years; it hadn’t been painted, and organization was non-existent. With five easy DIY projects in one weekend, DIY expert Monica Mangin creates a space that is streamlined and tranquil where they can get away at the end of the day. See the details of this industrial minimalist master bedroom makeover in this Lowe’s video:

1. The carpet was removed, and the hardwood flooring underneath was sanded and painted with light gray porch paint.

2. A faux cement accent wall was created by applying joint compound mixed with several shades of gray tint.

3. An adjustable no-cut closet system and storage bins provide much needed organization.

4. A nook was converted into a home office space with a custom-built standing desktop.

5. Thin pine planks stained dark brown and installed on the ceiling tie the space together.
