Mountain Outdoor Living Space

The backyard of the 2018 DIY Network Ultimate Retreat, tucked away in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina, is surrounded by nature, and the view has been made the priority. See the features of this mountain outdoor living space in this DIY Network video:

This backyard starts with an amazing octagonal deck. The custom made chairs and amazing swings provide seating for 15 people around a gas fire pit. Next door, there’s another more comfy seating spot situated around a two-way fireplace that will get lots of use in the fall. The deck wraps all the way around the back side of the house, giving you lots of places to relax and enjoy the view.

The vintage picnic table was bought locally and is in close proximity to the kitchen, making entertaining easy. And there are more comfy seating spots here as well. A walk-up bar takes advantage of a great feature – a pass-through window connecting to the inside for easy serving.

A natural stone pathway leads to the gorgeous backyard with flower beds filled with plants native to the area. It’s all just a prelude to the serene visa of the creek.
