Vloggers Master Bedroom Makeover

The master bedroom is typically put on the back burner when it comes to updating, and the YouTube family “8 Passengers” were no different. With five easy DIY projects in one weekend, DIY expert Monica Mangin creates a space that’s sophisticated and warm with rustic touches. 1. The walls were painted white up to 68 inches from the floor and covered with faux board-and-batten.

2. The nightstands were upcycled with new hardware and a bronze crackle glaze to give them a distressed look. The upper drawers were converted into charging stations.

3. The upper walls were painted a mossy warm green.

4. Pre-finished white planks from a kit were installed on the ceiling.

5. A DIY photo display ladder made from oak was stained and decorated with framed kids’ photos.
