White Melamine Kitchen Makeover

With the bulkhead eliminated, the new shaker-style cabinetry in a soft gray color was run up to the ceiling and finished with a crown. Brass hardware and a white subway tile backsplash complete the classic look. The extended island with its overhang and counter stools provides an eat-in area for breakfast. Extending the countertop created space for a coffee station; the overhead open shelving displays coffee mugs and a collection of mocha pots. A folding stepping stool hidden behind the toe kick allows easy access to the upper cabinetry.
