Classic Kitchen with Warm Touches
This previously renovated kitchen was in need of a second renovation to remove the large structural column and large header and truly open up the space. See the features of this classic kitchen with warm touches in this House & Home video:
The starting point of this makeover was the warm wood island that feels more like a piece of furniture. Full height white cabinetry and a pull-out pantry provide ample storage, and there is a convenient pull-out garbage, compost and recycling drawer. A desk area bridges the space between the family room and the kitchen. Nickel pendant light fixtures above the island adds visual interest.
