Upgrade a Bathtub with a Beadboard Surround

Give your bathtub a built-in, designer look using beadboard and PVC trim. Learn how to upgrade a bathtub with a beadboard surround in this HGTV video:

1. Measure the height and length of the bathtub to determine the dimensions of the face frame.

2. Using a router, create a ledge notch for the beadboard.

3. Cut PVC trim and beadboard to measurements. Hide the beadboard seam by marrying two pieces.

4. Paint the beadboard. Tip: Use exterior paint for durability.

5. Assemble the panel using silicone adhesive. Let dry for 24 hours.

6. Use silicone adhesive to secure the panel to the front of the tub. Caulk the seams. Let dry for 24 hours.
