Bachelor’s Budget Bedroom Makeover

This bare-bones bedroom in a rental unit had only a mattress on the floor and cheap crooked blinds on the window and lacked storage and personality, but it took a budget of only $2,000 to transform it into a cozy masculine space. The upgraded bedroom was furnished with a bed with four drawers, floating side tables with cupboards, drapery, a checkered plaid duvet and a mix of staging and sleeping pillows. The accent wall behind the bed was painted a dark green color that matches the duvet. A floating shelf with an overhead mirror serves as a touchdown station for dropping things off at the end of the day.
