How to Install a Shiplap Wall
Shiplap walls are on trend and add rustic style to any room. Learn how to install a shiplap wall in this video by Better Homes and Gardens:
1. Map out your pattern and prep the wall, removing screws and switchplates.
2. Measure, mark and cut 6-inch strips of MDF to fit the wall.
3. Locate studs and mark with a pencil.
4. Starting at the baseboard, install pieces up the wall. Use a mini craft stick as a spacer. Attach to wall along marked studs.
5. Use molding pieces to conceal corners.
6. Fill nail holes and seam gaps.
