How to Create a Diamond Panel Accent Wall

Instead of applying paint or wallpaper, consider making a feature wall with a three-dimensional treatment. Learn how to create a diamond panel accent wall in this Lowe’s video:

1. Make a grid on the wall using a series of chalk lines, marking every six inches along the top and bottom. This will yield 4″ x 4″ squares for the grid. Use a speed square to ensure the lines are drawn at 45-degree angles.

2. Plan out your pattern on grid paper to ensure your design looks right.

3. Using a table saw, cut wood strips and squares to size.

4. Use a nail gun to fasten the wood pieces in place on the wall.

5. Spray paint the wall in your color of choice and let dry.
