For this DIY project, you will need a canvas, dark blue paint, a white paint marker, a screw driver, a ruler or straightedge, and a string of lights.

1. Paint the canvas in a dark blue hue and let dry.

2. Lay the printed constellation template on the canvas.

3. Poke holes through the canvas at each star.

4. Draw stars at each hole with the white paint marker.

5. Connect the stars with the marker to complete the constellation.

6. Turn the canvas over.

7. Insert string lights into each hole.

8. Draw smaller stars if desired.
