How to Plant a Mini Herb Garden

For this project you will need herb plants, including lemon thyme, a flat wooden box, potting soil, floral wire and pebbles.
1. Fill box with potting soil.
2. Strip leaves from lemon thyme stems, then gather the stems into the trunk and secure with floral wire to form a topiary tree.
3. Place the topiary tree in the center of the box.
4. Plant herbs in each corner of the box.
5. Trace diagonal lines in the soil to create a path.
6. Cover the path with pebbles and press into place.
