How to Paint an Accent Wall with an Ombre Treatment

1. Tape off trim and lay down a drop cloth.

2. In a small bucket, mix equal parts of your darkest and medium paint colors.

3. In a second bucket, mix medium and light paint shades.

4. Working in small areas, paint the bottom portion of the wall.

5. Repeat with next lighter color leaving a gap.

6. Brush dark-medium paint mix onto the first gap and blend.

7. Brush medium-light paint mix onto the next gap and blend.

8. Repeat until you’ve achieved your desired ombre effect.

9. Let dry.

10. Remove tape.
