Master Bedroom Country Style Makeover

This renter, a country music singer/songwriter, wanted to make the bedroom in her rental home an amazing and cool space that reflects her personal style. With five easy DIY projects in one weekend, DIY expert Monica Mangin creates a space that has natural elements and colors, southwest influences and a touch of glam. See the details of this master bedroom country style makeover in this Lowe’s video:

1. A four post bed made from raw wood and stained walnut adds a country lodge vibe.

2. Covering the closet door and drawers with temporary peel-and-stick textured wood grain wallpaper provides additional rustic touches.

3. The DIY A-frame desk with plywood shelves is the perfect place for writing music.

4. Six crates stained to resemble reclaimed wood and assembled in a random pattern create a unique rustic storage unit.

5. A mobile cart was upcycled to a night stand by spray-painting it gold and attaching a stained woven balsa wood weave to the tray top.
