Modern Industrial Style Condominium Designed for Gardening and Cooking
The Plant, a modern industrial style condominium in Toronto’s Queen West area, was designed to capture light and grow plants in an urban context, making it a communal space for gardening and cooking. Residents can purchase and tend micro-gardening bleachers. The units are wide and shallow, which allow for lots of windows. The large kitchen has ample storage, including a hanging pot rack and a full-height pantry, and an island with a built-in herb garden top, recycling bin and countertop dining table and prep area.
