For this DIY project you will need acrylic craft paints in a variety of colors, a canvas and a squeegee.

1. Lay the canvas on a protected work surface.

2. Drizzle the paints on the canvas. A little bit of contrast is a good thing. Add a little white paint to break up the colors.

3. Draw the paint down the canvas with a squeegee in one smooth motion, repeating the process across the entire canvas. If there are spots that didn’t get enough paint, add more and squeegee again. Use the same technique on the edges.

4. Let the canvas dry, and then hang.
