Laundry to Powder Room Conversion

As part of a large home renovation, these homeowners requested a laundry to powder room conversion. See the details of this transformation in this video by Robeson Design:

The beautiful new powder room has a monochromatic neutral color palette with a dark vanity and grass cloth wallpaper.

A single light sidelight with beaded glass separates the vanity from the toilet area with its decorative niche. The sidelight allows light to go through but provides privacy.

The vanity has chopped off edges to make it feel more comfortable in the space, and a hidden pull-out step gives children a boost to the sink. Pendant lights were installed in lieu of the usual overhead vanity light. The original round mirror was treated with a faux finish to give it a modern touch.
