Open Living and Dining Room Makeover

The design goal of this open living and dining room makeover was to create a space that is elegant, chic, beautiful, and a bit edgy. See the features in this House & Home video:

Mixing textures makes this space feel layered, textured and interesting. This applies to both the finishes like glass, wood and chrome and the faux leather and velvet-look fabrics.

The homeowner’s stunning photography is displayed in overlapping black frames on a custom walnut table in the living room. Two paired small tables serve as a coffee table in the seating area.

In the dining room, textured wallpaper covers one wall. The dining table is accessorized with mid-century modern chairs and a striking industrial-style light fixture in lieu of a traditional chandelier.
