Open-Concept Family Kitchen Renovation

This small U-shaped kitchen had inadequate storage and was separated from the dining room by a wall, making it feel cramped and inefficient. See how an open-concept renovation transformed this space into a functional spacious family kitchen in this House & Home video:

The dividing wall was removed, opening up the space and allowing for an L-shaped kitchen. Features of this transitional-style kitchen include open floating shelves, two appliance garages with upper display cases, an apron-style farm sink, white Caesarstone countertops, and white tile backsplash. The cabinetry and shelving have an anthracite finish as does the buffet in the dining room. A banquette with built-in storage provides additional seating.
