You will need a welcome mat, solar-powered light, door hardware, cutting board, number stencil, acrylic sheet, spray paint, X-ACTO knife, drill and spray adhesive.
1. Update doorknobs: Prime the doorknobs and let dry. Add another coat and let dry.
2. Stenciled house numbers: Use spray adhesive on the front of the number stencil and place on a sheet of acrylic. Mark drill holes on either side and drill holes in the acrylic sheet. Spray-paint the stencil and hardware and let dry. Peel off the stencil. Attach hardware and hang the sign.
3. Personalized welcome mat: Trace a curve onto the mat and cut with an X-ACTO knife. Remove the edges. Spray-paint a stencil with your welcom message. Remove the stencil and let dry.
4. Easy outdoor lamp: Transform an indoor table lamp by replacing a regular lightbulb with a solar-powered light.
