Kitchen Organization Tips
A key area in everyone’s home is the kitchen. Ideally, everything should be located strategically so you can find what you need for table setting and meal preparation quickly. In most kitchens, unfortunately, glassware and dinnerware are not arranged appropriately, and different utensils are mixed together in drawers, sometimes with non-kitchen items. A well-organized kitchen will run more efficiently.

Here are some basic kitchen organization tips to get you started.
1. Take inventory of all of your utensils, cookware and appliances. Ask yourself how often (if ever) you use these items. Move out anything that is rarely used and give it to a friend or family member or donate it to charity.
2. Once the non-essential items have been removed, start with the kitchen drawers. Buying drawer organizers will eliminate the clutter and help you find things quickly. Once the drawers have been arranged to your satisfaction, take a look at your upper cabinets. Similar items like glasses and plates should be kept together. Your most frequently used items should be placed on the lower shelves, while less frequently used items should be placed on the upper shelves. You can free up additional cupboard space by purchasing a spice rack for storing your spices.
3. Lower kitchen cabinets pose a bigger organization challenge as space is usually limited and items can be hard to see and/or reach. You can maximize the space by purchasing three-tier cabinet shelving and mounting it to the inside of the cabinet to give you extra storage space. Another solution is to buy a sliding cabinet drawer which will enable you to access hard-to-reach items more easily.
It will take some time and effort (and perhaps a little expense)
to implement these kitchen organization tips; however, it will be well worth it once you have transformed your kitchen into a well-organized space.
