Affordable Guest Bathroom Transformation

The homeowners wanted to make their tired and worn guest bathroom feel more spacious and make a statement without breaking the bank. See the results of this affordable two-week transformation in this video by Smart Interiors:

This bathroom felt cramped due to the wall dividing the vanity from the shower. and the additional door leading into the shower area makes maneuvering in the space difficult. The shower had dated tile and a frosted glass door, and the dismal generic vanity had seen better days.

The transformation began by removing the wall and the door between the vanity and shower. A knee wall was left, however, so the flooring would not have to be replaced.

While the dimensions of the shower were unchanged, it feels bigger due to the new frameless glass door and the extension of the tile up to the ceiling. The framed tile inset with an arabesque design and the infinity drain provide the finishing touches.

The new vanity with vessel sink, unique mirror and light fixture make a statement. A pair of framed agate geodes in indigo in the toilet area complete the space.
