Sleek and Sophisticated Master Bath Transformation

The homeowners wanted to upgrade their dated and dismal master bath into a sleek and sophisticated space, but it had to be done fast, and the footprint of the bath along with the cabinets, floor and tub had to remain as is. Could this design challenge be met? See the results of this transformation in this Smart Interiors video:

The maple cabinets were spray lacquered with an espresso finish. Polished chrome hardware adds shimmer. The countertops were replaced with a creamy clean quartz. Rectangular sinks were finished off with squared off hardware handles and faucets.

In the tub area, the tile was run across the entire wall and around the window. This gives the area a more finished look and adds drama.

Running the tile up to the ceiling and a frameless glass door that opens the view inside and out makes the shower look much bigger. Feature tile on the back wall running vertically from ceiling to floor gives the illusion of a waterfall. A split stone floor contrasts nicely with the polished tile. An infinity drain and a generous bench provide the finishing touches.

While the bathroom got a new coat of paint throughout, the make-up niche and toilet area got a pop of blue. Similar to the vanity, the make-up niche cabinet also received an espresso finish and a creamy quartz countertop, while a new dimensional mirror and new sconces add sparkle.
