How to Make a Decorative Storage Crate
With a few basic materials, you can turn an ordinary wooden crate into a decorative storage container. Learn how in this Better Homes & Gardens video:
For this DIY project you will need:
- Bun feet
- Drill
- Wooden crate
- White paint and paintbrush
- Stencil
- Stencil brush and paint
- Stencil adhesive spray
- Dropcloth
1. Attach decorative bun feet to the bottom of the crate. The feet should be flush with the crate’s edge.
2. Paint the crate.
3. Spray adhesive onto the stencil and stick the stencil onto the crate.
4. Use a dry brush to paint the stencil and let dry.
