Industrial-Style Family Kitchen
This large industrial-style family kitchen is part of a long narrow open space that includes a large living area, powder room and mudroom. Designer Samantha Sacks describes the design challenges in this House & Home video:
This kitchen has a lot of action in it as the walnut cabinetry has a random match on the wood lines; custom-made walnut pulls make the cabinetry feel more like furniture. Other features include white subway tile, Calacatta marble countertops, an elongated island with ample space for seating and storage and the asymmetrical wall with its beautiful counter area, open shelving and exposed brick running up to the ceiling.
