Top Paint Color Trends for 2016
Senior Editor Morgan Michener and Interiors Director Meg Crossley discuss the jewel tones and warm neutrals that comprise their ten top paint colors for 2016 in this House & Home video:
Bright colors are very on trend, but when it comes to trends, liveability and how color will translate into our homes is important. These five rich jewel tones are definitely liveable:
- Pinot Noir
- Batten Down
- Creme Brulee
- Forest Green
- Cordova Burgundy
Emerald green is the color of the year, but it is best used in a small room – treat it like a jewel box.
Neutrals are core colors that you can build off of. These five neutrals have a bit of age and warmth to them, which makes them work well with jewel tones:
- White Tail
- Ultra Pure White
- Butler’s Silver
- Dove Tale
- Gauntlet Gray
