Powder Room with Pizzazz

The homeowners wanted to transform their 3′ x 6′ builder basic powder room with affordable updates that would give it some pizzazz. See the results of this makeover in this Smart Interiors video:

Everything was removed except the toilet. To give the room some character, the walls were covered with an elegant wallpaper. As the walls had an orange peel finish, they had to be covered with heavy-duty liner paper first to smooth out the walls.

The pre-fabricated espresso birchwood vanity with its apron farmhouse sink adds warmth and charm, while the new cutout mirror makes a bold statement. Fine wire wrapped around the striking light fixture gives it a handcrafted contemporary vibe. Over the toilet, two twig sconces with decorative items on top provide the finishing touches to this stylish contemporary powder room.
