Fun Vibrant Living Room Makeover

Sourcing cool unique pieces for her projects is the best part of interior designer Reiko Caron’s job. For this project, her clients wanted a fun vibrant living room. High ceilings, beautiful moldings and lots of natural light provided a great starting point. Follow Reiko as she goes shopping for this makeover in this House & Home video:

The paint colors were making the room feel a bit dated; these were updated to a gray-white for the walls and a vibrant blue for the ceiling. The hues were pulled from the original stained glass windows. Re-upholstering the existing sofa with a rich green fabric added personality.

Reiko chose handmade walnut tables, cacti and tropical terrariums, and a custom-made mosaic-inspired bike. Additional decor include updated wall sconces and a contemporary art wall.

The transformed living room is colorful, playful and stylish. It combines old and new but still feels refined after bringing in beautiful handmade pieces.
