How to Create a Fabulous Entryway

Most houses have an entryway that’s not a separate space delineated from the rest of the house but rather a front door that opens up into another important room in the house like a dining room. A pillar that acts as a half wall separates the front door from the kitchen. On the opposite side is a dresser which is the perfect place to drop your keys; it also has lots of drawers for great storage. The adjacent small ottoman provides a place for taking off shoes.

The real show-stoppers are the floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of light not just to the entry but to the whole first floor. When you need privacy and shade, a tap on any device lowers the app-operated wireless shades which run on batteries.
