Other great places to bring in color are accent pillows and bedding textiles, painted mirror or picture frames, or a pair of painted nightstands.

Go For the Bold

Using bold colors in your bedroom will make it feel energizing, lively and fresh. Use a flat sheen paint finish on the walls and ceiling to soften the effect of the vibrant color. A bedroom is typically a low traffic space, so this sheen works well.
