Great Room Transformation

Erin Feasby discusses the design features of her great room transformation in this House & Home video:

To brighten up the kichen, the granite countertops were replaced with Caesarstone Frosty Carrina countertops that resemble natural stone. Other additions included a new Moroccan motif glass backsplash a large contemporary-style lantern fixture over the island.

The eating area was moved from near the stairs to the back. The new banquette has wipeable faux leather seats and is surrounded by white vintage window built-ins. A large mirror over the banquette reflects the nearby windows and makes the space feel larger.

Charcoal gray built-ins were placed along an entire wall and includes the original fireplace, large TV, photo display and a hideaway home office. The redesigned space also includes two seating areas with ottomans. Drapery, pillows and the area rug inject color and pattern.
