Renovated Builder-Basic City Condo

A custom bar area that houses the homeowners’ wine collection is the focal point of this renovated builder-basic city condo. The peninsula island was moved closer to the appliance wall to allow creation of an overhang and seating as well as a passage to the principal suite. The kitchen features streamlined white cabinetry and white counters with gray veining which are used on the island, backsplash and vent hood. The gray millwork of the bar area continues into the open-concept living room and has a media component, storage and open shelving; the colors of the furnishings and accessories were inspired by the custom navy and gray area rug. To allow access to the terrace, the dining area was converted into a banquette space which has a walnut table, low profile chairs, a gallery wall and a custom light fixture. Other features include the entryway, the moody main bathroom with its mix of concrete and black millwork and stone, the cozy principal bedroom and the ensuite bath with midnight navy blue floor tile, stone niches in the shower and tub area, and a walnut vanity.
