Tudor-Style Heritage Home Renovation

The goal of this Tudor-style heritage home renovation was to match the home’s interior to its beautiful exterior. White and gray matte finish tile in the foyer breaks up the wood tones. Comfortable sofas and swivel chairs, custom arched built-ins and a fireplace with a cast stone mantel make the formal sitting room a cozy place for relaxation. The original dining room was converted into a TV room with a new fireplace with a stone mantel surrounded by shiplap and pine. Removing the wall between the kitchen and eating area created more square footage for the kitchen. Retro patterned floor tile, a new banquette, custom built-ins and floating shelves were installed, and the cabinetry was repainted in a soft gray color. Existing brick adds character to the dining room which has a a long custom oak table, custom bar and a modern chandelier. Take the tour in this House & Home video:
