Interior Designer’s Modern Loft Bungalow

This interior designer’s modern loft bungalow has four levels, with the garage, entry and office on the first level, the bedrooms on the second level, and the kitchen, living room and powder room on the third level. The unique water vapor fireplace composed of leather and porcelain is the striking focal point in the living room. In the kitchen, oversized porcelain slabs were used for the backsplash, countertops and peninsula, and small brass accent light fixtures on the ceiling add “jewelry” to the space. The loft is a cozy nook with a warm color palette and has a custom area rug, patterned drapery and a red leather sofa. Other features include the main bedroom with its patterned stone accent wall, the main bathroom with its Italian marble tile, brass and matte black accents and luxurious shower, and the guest bedroom that serves double duty as a second office.
