How to Make a Burlap Sunflower Wreath

To create leaves:
- Cut green burlap into 5 sections
- Twist pipe cleaners onto outer edge of wreath frame
- Bring two corners of the burlap together
- Pinch burlap together at center
- Place on top of pipe cleaner and twist in place
- Continue working around frame
To create petals:
- Cut yellow burlap into 30 sections
- Twist pipe cleaners onto next rung
- Add petals to pipe cleaners
- Add petals on top of previously twisted pipe cleaners
- Add two layers of yellow burlap
- Stagger from previous layer so petals are offset
- Repeat on each run until you reach center of frame
To create center:
- Cut brown burlap into 3 sections
- Secure sections together using zip tie
- Braid the sections together
- Secure end of braid using zip tie
- Roll braid into circle
- Secure using zip ties each quarter turn
- Place into center of wreath
- Secure using zip ties
